We are so pleased the owners of Spar cottage decided to allow us to add this delightful little cottage to our portfolio of special places to stay. It is the epitome of a small but extremely sweet cottage in the heart of beautiful Blakeney suiting either a couple as a romantic retreat but with extra accommodation on the imaginatively converted second floor.

Hidden down a little loke in the heart of the village one enters into the beautiful little sitting room. This is decorated with a very light touch, with pretty soft furnishings and has a TV with DVD and freeview for evenings at home. The new kitchen is well equipped with electric oven and halogen hob, dishwasher, fridge, washer/drier etc all within contemporary light wood units.

Stairs lead from the sitting room to the first floor where there is a lovely light double room, again prettily furnished including a lovely Venetian style mirror and imaginative light fittings. The bed is dressed with crisp white linen and the soft white towels. The bathroom has been really well thought out for guest’s comfort, with both roll top bath and a great walk in shower – the showerhead is dinner plate sized and there is also a hand held shower head.

Now for the hidden extra – narrow stairs lead up to the second floor to a large area under the eaves with 2 low beds with their own loo and washbasin in a separate little room – ideal if Mum and Dad want to bring their little ones along.

The cottage has full central heating and so is cosy for guests staying whatever the season but the sitting room fireplace is for decoration only.

As Spar cottage is the ideal romantic retreat for couples coming away, we are giving it two price bands – one if just the double bedroom is used and another if guests wish to used both bedrooms – do enquire about our best price when you book and do book early as we are sure this simply lovely cottage is going to be very popular with our discerning guests.
