School next the Church is an imaginative conversion of an old village school offering amazingly spacious and luxurious accommodation in the beautiful village of Great Snoring.   Situated right next to the church, as one might imagine, this characterful property is reached from a gravel drive leading to the house over a large lawn bordered with pretty flower beds.  It has great views over pasture to the rear beyond a garden with mature trees and shrubs – a lovely spot for the children to play or to sit and savour a glass of wine!

Through the imposing front door there is a large porch off which there is a shower room, and then into the magnificent living area open up to the rafters with woodburing stove and comfy sitting area with three sofas, TV and DVD and a selection of games for cosy evenings in.   There is a wonderful wooden kitchen with halogen hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washer/drier, that is separated from the dining area with wooden cupboards. The whole room has real WOW factor because it is so light and airy and beautifully furnished.

 Beyond the kitchen is the very large double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, again beautifully furnished.  At the other end of the sitting room a metal spiral staircase leads up to a galleried area off which is a pretty twin bedroom, ideal for children with a sink and antique pine beds.

This is a well loved holiday home and we are delighted that the charming family who own it have decided to share it with us.  Great Snoring is an ideal base from which to explore this part of North Norfolk and is placed very conveniently for Burnham Market,  Holkham with its magnificent beach and spectacular hall,  and all the special coastal villages from Brancaster to Blakeney.
