Primrose Barn is uniquely situated at Flaxman's Farm, a complex of barns and farmhouse built in 1700 around an open courtyard. Adjacent to the National Trust Property of Felbrigg Hall and enjoying views of the rolling North Norfolk countryside, Primrose Barn is just minutes away from Sheringham Park and the coast. Primrose Barn is tucked into the corner of these beautiful brick and flint buildings and has been lovingly furnished. The sitting room and kitchen are upstairs under the most stunning vaulted roof with original beams where the sun streams through the windows that overlook both the front and rear of the property. There are large comfortable sofas strewn with cushions to snuggle into around a majestic fireplace with a glorious wood burning stove. The kitchen is beautifully kitted out and has a Rayburn Range Cooker that provides the hot water, central heating and cooking facility. Easy to follow instructions are provided for those unused to cooking on a range and there is also a dishwasher, fridge, microwave, electric toaster, kettle etc.

An absolute joy is the small balcony with a table and chairs and steps down to the large secluded rear garden. Sitting on the balcony on a summer's evening sipping a drink is the ultimate in relaxation with just the swallows swooping overhead to disturb your reverie. A weeping willow dominates the centre of the lawn and at the far end a grassy bank is filled with every variety of Spring flower. As you enter Primrose Barn there is a large elegant hall and two spacious double bedrooms, each has an original Victorian brass double bed with sumptuous Vi-sprung mattresses. Crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen and luxury fluffy towels are provided (but we do ask you to bring your own beach towels). One of the bedrooms has doors opening onto a patio area leading onto the rear garden, with table and chairs where you can start your day by taking breakfast or end it by having a leisurely supper. A newly installed gorgeous bathroom includes a fabulous power shower and a roll top cast iron slipper bath. Primrose Barn is approached from a wide driveway that curves into the large car park surrounded by open fields. There is ample parking space.
