Some of our regular guests may recognise this magnificent Barn Conversion in Morston by its former names, Old Barn or Long Barn. The house has recently changed hands and the enthusiastic new owners have given it a complete makeover with a brighter and more contemporary feel. Situated off a quiet un-adopted lane in the centre of the village just a few minutes stroll to the Quay, its breathtaking, spacious accommodation is ideally placed for discerning guests wishing to enjoy the beautiful coastal villages of Morston, Blakeney and Cley.

The accommodation is extremely spacious taking advantage of the wonderfully high ceilings and airy open features of the original barn. On the ground floor off the long hall are two good sized twin bedrooms, bathroom with bath and walk in shower, boot room and cloakroom with wc.

A simply huge open plan room, featuring high ceilings with exposed rafters and flint walls, takes up the rest of the ground floor. This room has a comfortable sitting area with wood burning stove, LCD TV, DVD etc, dining area with a large table comfortably seating 10 and a fabulous well equipped kitchen.  With an oil fired AGA plus companion gas & electric AGA cooker it gives great flexibility for cooks of all abilities! There is a good range of crockery, pans, cutlery etc in the attractive painted kitchen cupboards plus of course, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, microwave etc.  Off the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine and drier.

Three large French doors open out of the main room onto the terrace of a beautifully planned and planted, mainly walled garden with open cart barns covering a table tennis table.  This is a wonderful space for alfresco dining with its large table, chairs and gas barbeque.  There is ample parking space for 5 cars in the gravel drive.

Upstairs are two large double bedrooms, complete with crisp white linen on the low king sized beds and soft fluffy towels, both with en suite bathrooms. A lovely first floor sitting room with gallery overlooking the main room downstairs has comfy sofas arranged around a second wood burning stove, and shelves of interesting books to read. There is a narrow wooden stairway off this room to a twin bedded attic room in the highest point of the barn, perfect for the teenagers!
