This lovely property is situated only yards away from the Quay in Blakeney, right next to one of our most favoured holiday homes, The Counting House. With wonderful views of the salt marshes from the kitchen and sitting room, Caulking House combines the open spaciousness of ‘loft-living’ with the light and white decoration of New England style and has been recently completely renovated and decorated.

Outside stairs lead up to an entrance porch and then one enters the fabulous open plan living area taking up nearly the whole upper floor. Here is situated the kitchen, fully equipped including fridge, freezer and dishwasher, where cooking is never a chore with the ever changing views towards Cley beach! A huge scrubbed pine table is situated between the kitchen and sitting area and at this window a telescope has been thoughtfully placed to spot distant wildlife out on the marshes or passing ships at sea.

The airy sitting room has an enamel woodburning stove and comfy sofas for cozy evenings at home and wooden stairs lead up to a galleried area. Also on this floor is a bathroom with shower above the bath and a twin bedroom, again with lovely views.

Down the bleached wooden stairs are two further bedrooms, one with a king size double bed with french windows and a balcony overlooking the marshes at Cley and an ensuite shower room. The other is a twin bedroom. Both are light and bright with white painted furniture and canvas wardrobes in keeping with the décor of the house.

Outside there is parking for one car and a small patio area for evening G&T’s and across the gravel drive a lawned area. The house is tucked away yet very conveniently placed for the centre of Blakeney and the coastal path.
