We are delighted to add this lovely Norfolk family holiday home to our portfolio of properties.  Beachstone House is a striking double fronted cottage situated in the centre of Blakeney and very close to the Quay.  Set slightly back from the road, the house has a pretty cottage garden enclosed by high flint walls – a lovely spot to enjoy alfresco meals from the brick built barbeque. The family of keen sailors have had an outdoor shower plumbed in; ideal for muddy or sandy children (and dogs!) and there is a wash house containing a washing machine and drier.

 From the garden one enters the good sized family kitchen/breakfast room with an AGA, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave etc. A large table seating 8 sits in the middle of the room with a cosy sofa at the far end. There is a useful pantry for provisions.

The drawing room has comfy white loose covered sofas and chairs around an open fire and an upright piano for musical soirees! Double doors lead through to a small sitting room with alcoves either side of the fireplace filled with books and games. A rear hall with w/c off it has fairly steep stairs hidden by a door to the first floor where there is a family bathroom and 4 bedrooms.

The master bedroom at the front of the house is a good sized double with an antique brass bed and small sink in a pine washstand. There is a second, smaller double room, a single bedroom and a childrens room with a single bed and pair of bunk beds.

This delightful house is full of period features and has a lovely family atmosphere. Its position in the heart of Blakeney guarantees its popularity with guests returning to this picturesque village.

As with all our cottages, Beachstone House is designated as non-smoking. The owners do allow well-behaved dogs by prior arrangement and at a small extra charge.
